Begin your journey along the historic Gold Trail, once used by explorers and traders centuries ago. Surrounded by lush rainforest, hike through crystal-clear streams and ancient stone paths that tell the story of Brazil’s colonial past.
After about two hours, enter a preserved area of the Serra da Bocaina National Park, where you’ll experience a wildlife expedition. Observe native animals such as colorful birds, monkeys, and maybe even sloths in their natural habitat — a true immersion in Brazil’s biodiversity.
Stop for a refreshing swim at the Laje Waterfall, where you can relax in natural pools carved by centuries of water flow. Continue through dense forest until you reach a remote local house, where you’ll stop for lunch in a peaceful setting, far from the city noise — a perfect place to enjoy authentic Brazilian flavors (meal not included).
After lunch and some relaxation time, hike back through the forest to return to your starting point.
