This introduction to cross-country skiing takes place at Camp Mercier, one of the best ski centers in Quebec. Transportation from Quebec City is included. When you arrive, the guide will show you the equipment and check it. You'll then learn the basics of classic cross-country skiing. Work on balance, propulsion, braking, climbs, and descents. The guide adapts the exercises to your pace. Then, you'll head out on a trail for a short technical hike in the forest. A picnic break and a hot chocolate round out the outing. This activity combines learning, practice, and discovering the landscapes of the Laurentian Wildlife Reserve. It's a 4-hour experience. Beginner level. Minimum age: 8 years old.
