An Architect's Tour of Downton Santiago is a walking tour created and curated by Chilean architect Diego Inzunza. This activity begins in Santiago's most important intersection (Plaza Baquedano), and takes your through some of the city's most iconic and historically relevant buildings and neighborhoods. The tour comprehends a three hour experience in which travelers will be able to ask, learn, photograph and enjoy the city from an architectural perspective. Along the way, we will stop for a coffee break and restroom breaks if needed. Included in the tour are places such as Barrio Lastarria, Universidad Catolica de Chile, Cerro Santa Lucia, Iglesia San Francisco, Barrio Paris-Londres, and many others. This tour does not require any previous knowledge in architecture or any sort of equipment besides your desire to discover. The tour ends at Chile's Civi Center in La Moneda, which is the presidential palace.

The tour host graduated in 2016 with a degree in Architecture, and has worked as an architect and guide for over 6 years. In this tour, you will understand about architectural styles, reasons behind the aesthetic of buildings, and the relevant events that have shaped the development of the city. You may also ask about aspects of places you may find curious and also spend more time on a place is you wish to photograph or explore a bit further. I had the opportunity to live in the United States for 10 years, which has allowed me to develop my English at a fluent level, which will help with communicating the ideas in depth.

- The tour ends at the presidential palace of La Moneda. The tour does not consider a ride back to your destination, but there is both public and private transportation just steps away.
