Your session begins at our dedicated studio near the cultural heart of Beijing, where you will be greeted by our styling team.
The transformation starts with a consultation to select your Costume style—options may include the flowing silhouettes of the Tang Dynasty, the refined elegance of the Song Dynasty, or the dignified robes of the Ming Dynasty. Each garment is carefully selected for its authenticity and quality. Our skilled makeup artists and hairstylists will then create a period-appropriate look, paying meticulous attention to details like hair ornaments and accessories, ensuring you feel and look the part.
Once prepared, you and your dedicated professional photographer will travel to one of Beijing's designated historic sites for the photoshoot. Potential locations include the serene and scholarly atmosphere of the Prince Gong's Mansion, the majestic red walls and golden tiles of a section of the Lama Temple outer precincts (where permitted for such activities), or the picturesque classical gardens of the Summer Palace. Your photographer, knowledgeable in both composition and historical context, will guide you through poses that reflect classical Chinese grace, using the architecture as a living set. The session focuses on capturing your connection to the environment, creating artistic images that tell a story. After the shoot, you will receive a selection of professionally edited high-resolution digital photographs. The entire experience lasts approximately 3-4 hours, adhering to all public access rules and photography regulations of the chosen venue.

This excursion you can cancel with no cost up to 24 hours before the start of the trip. If you cancel it after 24 hours or not show up on the excursion you will still be charged the full price of the activity. Being late on pick-up or departure will be considered as not showing up.
