You will be picked you up from the zhangjiajie hotel at 8:30 am and embark on your adventure to Zhangjiajie National Forest Park. The most prominent geographical feature of Zhangjiajie National Forest Park is the columnar terrain, which is also the inspiration for the floating mountains in the movie Avatar. Although they resemble karst landforms, they are formed through years of physical weathering due to winter ice and snow expansion and various plant growth.
After a period of sightseeing, you will take the elevator to reach the Yuanjiajie Scenic Area, where you can overlook the beautiful scenery of the entire scenic area. From here, you will visit the Avatar Hallelujah Mountain, which is named after the South Heavenly Pillar and is the site of an incredible natural bridge. Afterwards, you will enjoy a simple Chinese lunch on the mountain and then take the shuttle bus to Tianzi Mountain. You will have time to visit Helong Park, Xihai Wonders, and Yubi Peak, and then take a cable car down the mountain. Then, you will go back to the hotel in Zhangjiajie.
