Tour the highlights of the Forbidden City. The route is walk along the central axis of the Forbidden City , starting from the political center in the south where no access to ladies, then tour the living quarter in the north where no man except the Emperor can enter. Visit the imperial garden at the end of the tour.
Meet your guide at the meeting point at 10:30 AM

After all participants get ready, we will walk 15 minutes to the entrance of the Forbidden City.
Start your Forbidden City adventure after we pass the ticket checkpoint, we will tour the Forbidden City for 2 hours.
We will finish our tour at the Shen Wu gate ( northern gate ) of the Forbidden City.
After the Forbidden City you can choose to climb up the Prospect Hill located behind the Forbidden City to get a bird's eye view of the whole Forbidden City. Or Walk to Tian’anmen Square to tour the Square at your own pace.

By taxi:
If you want to take a taxi to the meeting point, you can show “国家大剧院西门停车场入口” to local taxi driver. After you arrive there, walk to the Northern Side of the National Center for Performing Art.
If you use Alipay to get a taxi, please set the destination as “National Center for the Performing Arts - West Gate (or parking lot entrance)”
By metro:
Take the Metro to to Tian’anmen Xi Station (Tian’anmen West station) of Line 1, exit from the exit C to reach the National Center for Performing Art-North gate, you will find a big nail shell-shape building with a beautiful lake surrounding it.
Just wait near the National Center for Performing Arts-North gate.
When should I book?
To guarantee availability book as soon as possible. Early booking is worth consideration especially if you planning the trip during high season like public holidays or weekends.
Cancellations
This excursion you can cancel with no cost up to 24 hours before the start of the trip. If you cancel it after 24 hours or not show up on the excursion you will still be charged the full price of the activity. Being late on pick-up or departure will be considered as not showing up.
