Workshop oriented to promote the enjoyment of cooking and its experience, having the ability to learn, cook and plate an Ajiaco, emblem of Bogota's gastronomy, with a practical approach.
We will experience in situ all the steps of the traditional recipe of Ajiaco, the signature dish of Bogota's cuisine, a typical soup containing prey or shredded chicken, Creole, Pastusa and Sabanera potatoes, corn on the cob, capers, rice, avocado, guasca, peas and cream, at the Atelier of artist and designer Gabriel Bohórquez in the north of Bogota:
1. We explored with travelers the Ingredients of Ajiaco. The Ingredient is the raw material of our menu.
2. We will know some cuisines and elaboration techniques. We will have the practice of cooking: washing, cutting, utensils, proportions and times, which are part of the knowledge of ancestral ways. The kitchen is the laboratory of food production.
3. We will plate the Ajiaco from our creativity from our imagination,

As this is a Cooking experience, we require that the tourist has a proactive attitude of creativity and commitment to teamwork throughout the Cooking Plan. You must have comfortable clothes but with a personal style. The visitor must have PCR vaccinations and the use of mouth covers is required throughout the activity.

When should I book?

Cancellations
This excursion you can cancel with no cost up to 24 hours before the start of the trip. If you cancel it after 24 hours or not show up on the excursion you will still be charged the full price of the activity. Being late on pick-up or departure will be considered as not showing up.
