The Rosario Islands and Playa Tranquila on Baru Island offer crystal clear waters and white sands. Accessible by boat, they are perfect destinations to enjoy ecotourism and the serenity of the Caribbean.
ITINERARY

Day prior to the activity
To begin the adventure, participants must complete a boarding check-in the day before. This process includes basic information such as name, nationality, age, weight and choice of lunch, if applicable. This is essential to comply with the requirements of the maritime department, guarantee the insurance of the activity and expedite logistics. The advisors will send a reminder with instructions for this registration.

Day of the activity
Meeting point at La Bodeguita Dock, door #1, at 8:00 a.m.

At the dock, a uniformed host will verify registration, hand out handles and lunch tickets. Upon clearance (between 8:30 a.m. and 9:00 a.m.), sailing will commence. Priority will be given to safety, including the mandatory use of life jackets and compliance with environmental regulations, such as not extracting aquatic species.

The tour includes a panoramic view of Tierra Bomba and its towns, as well as the colonial forts of San Fernando and San José. Afterwards, we will head to the Corales del Rosario National Park, passing by several islands until we reach San Martin de Pajarales Island, where you can choose (optional not included) between visiting the oceanarium or snorkeling. Both activities last between 45 minutes and 1 hour.

Lunch at Baru Island
At noon, we will arrive at Playa Tranquila, on Baru Island, where guests will enjoy lunch previously selected at check-in at the Mandala Beach Restaurant. The restaurant facilities will be available to attendees, while chairs and tents will be available for rent. The return is scheduled for 3:00 p.m., respecting the indications of the guide.

To guarantee availability book as soon as possible. Early booking is worth consideration especially if you planning the trip during high season like public holidays or weekends.


Cancellations

This excursion you can cancel with no cost up to 24 hours before the start of the trip. If you cancel it after 24 hours or not show up on the excursion you will still be charged the full price of the activity. Being late on pick-up or departure will be considered as not showing up.
