Description
Ride from Bogotá into tropical valleys, hidden cave waterfalls, crystal-clear pools, off-road mountain trails, and the legendary Tequendama Falls on an unforgettable ADV adventure.
Experience one of the most dramatic landscape transitions in Colombia on this full-day motorcycle adventure from Bogotá to the warm valleys of the Magdalena River.
This spectacular route descends over 2,300 meters (7,500+ feet) from the cold Andean mountains into a tropical climate filled with lush vegetation, winding roads, hidden waterfalls, and off-road mountain trails. Along the way, we leave the pavement behind to explore remote backroads leading to one of the region’s most magical hidden gems: a waterfall flowing from inside a natural cave.
Surrounded by jungle scenery and warm 27°C (80°F) weather, we explore crystal-clear natural pools like the famous Pozo Azul, perfect for cooling off after the ride.
After enjoying a traditional Colombian lunch, we continue toward the legendary Tequendama Falls, a majestic 157-meter waterfall formed by the Bogotá River and deeply connected to ancient Muisca indigenous legends.
The ride back to Bogotá brings another dramatic contrast as we climb once again from the tropical Magdalena Valley into the cold, misty highlands of the Andes.
This is a long and unforgettable riding day combining mountain curves, tropical heat, off-road exploration, waterfalls, history, and some of the most diverse scenery you can experience near Bogotá.
