Itinerary (Total duration: 8 hours)
10:00 AM - 10:30 AM | Meeting and Departure (30 min)
Start point: Pickup of guests at the Museum of Contemporary Art (Minuto de Dios). Meet the bilingual tour guide, board the private transportation, and transfer to the first destination.
10:30 AM - 12:30 PM | Santa María del Lago Wetland (2 hours)
Arrival at the nearest wetland. Guided ecological tour along its established trails, observation of aquatic birds, and exploration of the urban flora with the expert guide.
12:30 PM - 1:00 PM | Transfer to Engativá (30 min)
Travel by private vehicle to the west of the city.
1:00 PM - 3:00 PM | Jaboque Wetland and Lunch/Refreshment (2 hours)
Exploration of the vast biodiversity and pre-Hispanic monoliths of the Jaboque Wetland. There will be an intermediate rest break to enjoy a healthy refreshment and recharge your batteries.
3:00 PM - 3:40 PM | Transfer to the North (40 min)
Trip by private transportation to the Suba/Usaquén area.
3:40 PM - 5:30 PM | Córdoba Wetland (1 hour and 50 minutes)
Interpretive walk through one of the best-preserved wetlands in the city. Detailed observation of endemic and migratory birds, and analysis of the riparian forest ecosystem with an English-speaking tour guide.
5:30 PM - 6:00 PM | Return (30 min)
End of the educational day and final transport by private transportation back to the starting point at the Museum of Contemporary Art.
