Description
Take a journey in which you will learn about a centennial coffee hacienda. Throughout your tour you will descend 900 meters in altitude, which will enable you to best appreciate the changing climates.
Your tour representative will pick you up from your hotel from where you will be taken on a journey in which you will learn about a centennial coffee hacienda. On your way to Fusagasuga you will descend from 2,600 meters above sea level from Bogotá, to 1,700 meters of altitude where you will be able to appreciate the changing climates of the different thermal floors.
Upon arrival in Fusagasuga, which means "woman who hides behind the mountain" or "people of the
mountain" in the Chibcha language, you will visit the Hacienda Coloma. Whilst here you will take a walk around the coffee plantations and learn about the process of coffee harvesting, threshing, roasting, and packing.
Towards the end of your tour you will enjoy a typical lunch, and at the conclusion of your tour you will be returned back to your accommodation in Bogotá.
