Itinerary

At 9:00 a.m., we will pick you up from your hotel in Santa Marta to begin this comprehensive tour of the city's history and most iconic sites.

Our first stop will be the historic Quinta de San Pedro Alejandrino, a former colonial hacienda where Simón Bolivar died in 1830. During the visit, we will learn about its history and explore its gardens and most important monuments, including the Altar of the Fatherland.

We will continue our tour, passing by Eduardo Santos Soccer Stadium, where we will see the famous 'El Pibe' Valderrama Monument, dedicated to the legendary Colombian soccer player Carlos Valderrama.

Our next stop will be the Mirador de Taganga, where we will enjoy spectacular panoramic views of the Caribbean coast and the picturesque village of Taganga.

We will then descend to the bay to explore the coastline and the port of Santa Marta, before heading into its charming historic center. There, we will visit iconic sites such as the lively Parque de los Novios, one of the city’s most popular spots.

Next, we will head to a downtown restaurant to enjoy a traditional Colombian lunch. The menu includes pescado cojinúa (fried fish), served with coconut rice, patacones (fried plantains), and salad, a delicious sample of Caribbean cuisine.

After lunch, we will head back to your hotel, where the tour will end at around 3:00 PM.
