Hello! My name is Sanghoon, and I am an experienced Korean language instructor with over 16 years of teaching and professional experience. I hold an MBA and specialize in business Korean, academic Korean, and advanced-level Korean for learners who want to communicate effectively in professional and academic settings.
I am proud to be a Super Tutor on Preply, teaching students from diverse countries including the United States, Germany, China, Japan, Singapore, and Poland. My teaching approach combines practical language skills with cultural insights, helping students master nuanced expressions, professional vocabulary, and fluency in complex conversations.

- The class follows a structured yet flexible flow to balance learning and enjoyment:
- 1) Meet & order a drink
- Gather at a carefully selected café. Order your preferred drink (self-paid).
- 2) Warm-up (10 minutes)
- Share your personal experience with Korean learning, your goals for improvement, and recent challenges you’ve faced.
- 3) Text analysis (10 minutes)
- Together with your instructor, read and analyze a short article, column, or excerpt from current events.
- 4) Deep discussion (30 minutes)
- Engage in structured conversation based on the text and chosen topic. Depending on the session, you may:
- Take part in a debate different perspectives.
- Conduct cause-and-effect analysis of an issue.
- Practice role-plays that mirror real-life business situations.
- Explore cultural implications and compare them with your own society.
- 5) Wrap-up & feedback (10 minutes)
- Receive detailed feedback from your instructor on your performance.
When should I book?
To guarantee availability book as soon as possible. Early booking is worth consideration especially if you planning the trip during high season like public holidays or weekends.
Cancellations
This excursion you can cancel with no cost up to 24 hours before the start of the trip. If you cancel it after 24 hours or not show up on the excursion you will still be charged the full price of the activity. Being late on pick-up or departure will be considered as not showing up.
