Description

Experience the distinctive streetscapes of an ambitious metropolis! Historic facades in the Lower Town and medieval corners of the Upper Town await you with fascinating anecdotes and fantastic photo opportunities.
We will start this informative, educational and fun walking tour at Zagreb Main Station. Our meeting point is in front of the venerable monument to the proud and legendary King Tomislav.

And we will immediately be immersed in the typical Zagreb way of life: In its first part, the tour takes us through the special atmosphere of the so-called Horseshoe Park in Zagreb's Lower Town, which gives a sense of the 19th and 20th centuries.

The tour then continues to the two hills of Kaptol and Grič, which were settled in the Middle Ages. This is where the urban roots of today's metropolis of Zagreb took shape, which will be explained to you through the city's famous symbols. Among other things, you will get to know the local cathedral, the famous Stone Gate, St. Mark's Square and the popular funicular.

The guided tour ends at the central Ban Josip Jelačić Square. Here, you will be able to round off the tour happily by taking some great selfies at the pretty Manduševac fountain or in front of the impressive equestrian statue, with a smile on your face.
