Visit Plitvice Lakes National Park, Croatia's largest national park. It is one of the most magnificent places to visit in Croatia, so don't be surprised to find it on the list of 100 things to do on the world's most famous sites. As a Croatian natural jewel, it’s also on the UNESCO List of World Heritage sites. The main attractions of this park, unique in the world, are the 16 small lakes joined by waterfalls created by the sedimentation of travertine, a special type of limestone. The color of the water is so clear that you can see through and it's changing from emerald green to aqua blue which gives you the opportunity to take some amazing photos. There are also several caves in the park, as well as springs and flowering meadows.

The tour starts at 7:30 AM and lasts for approximately 12 hours. Meet up in Split, be greeted by your guide and board your transportation for the day. Three hours of driving will pass by quickly because our guide will tell you interesting stories about Croatia, while you will have the chance to enjoy the beautiful Croatian landscape.

Upon arrival at the park, you will be given a map of the park and told about the day's itinerary. Then, you will have approximately 4 hours to walk through the entire path with your guide and visit upper and lower lakes, as well as the big waterfall. The tour also includes a boat ride and a train ride.

You will arrive at Split at around 7:30 PM.

This excursion you can cancel with no cost up to 48 hours before the start of the trip. If you cancel it after 48 hours or not show up on the excursion you will still be charged the full price of the activity. Being late on pick-up or departure will be considered as not showing up.
