Discover the market and the town of La Laguna, a UNESCO heritage site. Taste the local cuisine. Explore the endemic laurel forest.
We will make our first stop at the La Laguna market where you will have the opportunity to discover local products: tropical fruits, spices, goat cheeses, red and green “mojos” sauces typical of the islands and all in a Canarian atmosphere. .
We will then take a magnificent walking tour through the historic center made up of perpendicular cobblestone streets which served as inspiration for the design of certain colonial cities in America such as Havana or Cartagena de Indias. There you will find convents, palaces, the cathedral, churches and a large number of 16th century bourgeois residences which hide inside the jewels of Canarian patios with Tea wood balconies.
After discovering this UNESCO heritage city, we will have lunch in a traditional Canarian cuisine restaurant where you will taste their local specialties accompanied by local wine.
We will then join the Anaga rural park, classified as a Biosphere heritage site due to the exceptional conservation of its natural values. Once at the visitor center, we will take a short walk in this dense and humid forest made up of laurel trees to get a closer look at its unique endemic flora.
End of the excursion and return to the hotel.
