Embark on a glacier hike and ice cave tour and explore Iceland's otherworldly landscapes while your certified guide and adventure photographer captures professional photos of your experience.
Our most adventurous tour option, this will be a full day of private glacier hiking and photoshoots. Your guide will drive you to an outlet glacier via super jeep to begin our adventure. After a hike through an alien-like glacial tundra, we will arrive at the edge of the glacier where your guide will assist you in putting your crampons on. Geared up, we will explore both the lower and upper ice caves where your photographer will capture you inside of these natural wonders. Once through the lower cave, which is called Sapphire, we will gear up for our hike on the glacier. We will head to a beautiful deep blue crevasses leading to an Ice cave called Bellissimo. This is where you will experience the most intimate setting with crystal blue ice. The visuals you will see all around you will create an unimaginable experience as your photographer captures you amongst it.
– Ice caves are a dynamic ever-changing natural phenomenon. Each year, old ice caves melt and new ice caves appear. Photos that you see of the cave at any given time on our website or any social media will not necessarily mean that is what you will necessarily experience on your tour. This makes each experience unique and special for our guests.
– This Glacier tour involves roughly 10km of total hiking. The first half of the terrain is very flat yet rocky and is relatively easy for a person of average fitness. The second half is hiking on the glacier which goes up a gradual incline for about 20 minutes. The overall hike is rated as easy with some areas of moderate exercise.
– Beware: It will be colder than you think up on the glacier. Therefore, it is very important that you have dress appropriately for our Glacier Tour. As it’s windy and exposed on the.

IMPORTANT INFORMATION
The minimum age for this tour in the summer is 8 and the winter is 10 years old.
All persons under 18 must be accompanied by an adult.
Unless otherwise prearranged the adults need to provide their own car seat.
Per Icelandic LAW: Children under 135 cm must use a child car seat when travelling in a car. Taller children are free to use car seats as long as the car seat is intended for children of that height and weight. When should I book?
To guarantee availability book as soon as possible. Early booking is worth consideration especially if you planning the trip during high season like public holidays or weekends.
Cancellations
This excursion you can cancel with no cost up to 24 hours before the start of the trip. If you cancel it after 24 hours or not show up on the excursion you will still be charged the full price of the activity. Being late on pick-up or departure will be considered as not showing up.
