Your journey begins in the heart of Düsseldorf's Japanese quarter around Immermannstraße. Here you will get an insight into the Japanese side of the city and learn why Düsseldorf has become one of the most important centers of Japanese life in Europe.

From Japan, it's on to the architectural future: discover the Kö-Bogen I and II and learn about the ideas behind Düsseldorf's new landmarks. Then the path takes us to the famous Königsallee. Passing the historic Stahlhof, you will reach the Ständehaus, which today, with the K21, offers an exciting contrast between historical architecture and contemporary art.

Now we are not only changing districts, but also cities: Together we take the tram to Neuss. The trip from Düsseldorf to Neuss is included in the tour price. If you have a valid Deutschlandticket, for example, you can of course use it.

Once in Neuss, you will immerse yourself in more than 2,000 years of the city's history. Around the marketplace and the imposing Quirinus-Münster, you will get to know one of the oldest cities in Germany and some of its most important stories.

Afterwards, the route takes us to Wendersplatz. This is where the regular part of the booked tour ends.

Want to experience even more? Then you can optionally continue your visit at the Landesgartenschau Neuss 2026. For an entrance fee of €5 per person, you will continue together onto the grounds. On a guided discovery tour, you will get to know selected highlights of the Landesgartenschau – from themed gardens and sustainable concepts to exciting background stories.

Those who do not want to visit the Landesgartenschau say goodbye at Wendersplatz. Those who choose the optional LAGA experience will end the tour on the grounds of the Landesgartenschau and can then stay longer and explore the garden show on their own.

Düsseldorf and Neuss – two different cities, connected in one tour and one special experience.

Good to know: Experience has shown that the tour to Wendersplatz takes about 3 to 4 hours. A duration to the minute cannot be guaranteed due to the tram ride and possible waiting times. With the optional visit to the State Garden Show, the total duration is extended accordingly.

The optional entrance fee to the Landesgartenschau can be purchased directly from the tour guide on request. Cash and card payments are possible.

To guarantee availability book as soon as possible. Early booking is worth consideration especially if you planning the trip during high season like public holidays or weekends.

This excursion you can cancel with no cost up to 24 hours before the start of the trip. If you cancel it after 24 hours or not show up on the excursion you will still be charged the full price of the activity. Being late on pick-up or departure will be considered as not showing up.
