Description

Visit historical sights of Wiesbaden especially historical buildings from the Roman Times. Walk on one of the busiest upscale shopping streets in Germany & get to see a thermal spring fountain.
Start your tour at the Roemertor, one of the oldest buildings from the Roman Times. As we continue, you will see the Bergkirche which is a Church dating back to 1879. Here, you will see Gothic revival architectural style. The church was designed by the architect Johannes Otzen.

As you walk through the Palace square, you will also get to see the Neo-Gothic architecture at the main protestant church of the city known as the Evangelical Market church Wiesbaden. It dates back to around 1853 and 1862 and was known as the largest brick building of its time.

Continue walking on the Taunusstrasse, a historic street with many options for Antiques, a perfect place for you to buy souvenirs. You will then see the building known as Villa Clementine (Literature house). It has been a famous place for literary professionals to meet since 2002.

Window shop at one of the busiest upscale shopping streets in Germany when you walk through the Wilhelmstrasse. As we continue, you will come across the Kurhaus, a spa house serving as a convention center located in the center of Wiesbaden housing a restaurant and the Wiesbaden Casino.

Next, you will walk by a thermal spring fountain in Kranzplatz and see the luxury hotels on the way. You will finish your tour at Bäckerbrunnen, a place that houses many shops, restaurants, and cafes.
