Welcome to my embroidery studio! In this course, we combine the traditional craft of embroidery with the modern trend of visible repair (Visible Mending). The choice is yours: would you like to design a new embroidery picture or artfully save a beloved piece of clothing that has a hole or a stain?

We use colorful threads and trendy bead embroidery to breathe new life into textiles. I will show you different embroidery stitches that you can use to either create freehand motifs or embroider over damaged areas so that they look more beautiful afterward than before. We don't hide anything – we embellish it!

While you immerse yourself in the world of needle art, cool and warm drinks provide a cozy, feel-good atmosphere. This workshop is perfect for anyone who loves sustainability and wants to design their wardrobe very personally. You will not only take home a finished project but also the inspiration and knowledge for many more upcycling ideas

Prior knowledge: Absolutely none required! I will guide you step by step.
What to bring: Bring 1-2 textiles (sturdy fabrics such as cotton, linen, or denim work best)

  • All materials: Large selection of embroidery threads, beads, fabric scraps, and needles
  • Tools: Use of studio tools and embroidery hoops
  • Drinks flat-rate: Water, tea, coffee, and soft drinks
  • Guide: A printed overview of the most important embroidery stitches for home
NOT INCLUDED
  • The textile to be embroidered or repaired

When should I book?

To guarantee availability book as soon as possible. Early booking is worth consideration especially if you planning the trip during high season like public holidays or weekends.


Cancellations

This excursion you can cancel with no cost up to 24 hours before the start of the trip. If you cancel it after 24 hours or not show up on the excursion you will still be charged the full price of the activity. Being late on pick-up or departure will be considered as not showing up.
