Join a scenic forest hike along the rocky trails of Mount Hymettus, with breathtaking views of Athens. Follow your guide to their favorite spots and trails, where you’ll see local herbs and plants along the way.
Explore ancient ruins, walk past ancient marble quarries, visit the mysterious Dragon House, a small dry-stone structure built with massive stone blocks without cement.
Along the way, we'll stop at a viewpoint with binoculars to take in panoramic views of Athens and spot landmarks from above.
Afterward, relax at the forest bar Kalopoula before heading back to the starting point.
From several viewpoints, we’ll use binoculars to spot and recognize Athens’ main landmarks from above.

The full route includes a few climbs and short moderately challenging sections, suitable for casual hikers or those with some hiking experience.

I'll meet you at the Kaisariani Fire lookout station, "Dimitris Karamolegkos," Leof. Alimou Katechaki, Kesariani 161 22, Greece.
It’s about 25-30 minutes by taxi from the city center, Syntagma, or the Acropolis.
Alternatively, you can take bus 224 (every 10 minutes) from Syntagma or Evangelismos to the last stop, then walk 1.3 km (about 25 minutes) to the meeting point.
