Description

We prepared special Japanese experience for you. You can watch a demonstration of Japanese tea ceremony and drink matcha green tea with sweets. And you will also experience making your own matcha.
You will enter 和茶子wasako's Japanese-style room on the fifth floor of the building.
There are five starting times: 10:00, 11:30, 13:30, 15:00, and 16:30.
You will hear background music of the sounds of the river, birds singing, and the forest. You will be surrounded by pleasant, chemical-free air.

You choose whether your tea ceremony experience will be on tatami mats or chairs.

You choose your tea sweets. We have approximately 3-4 types of sweets designed to match the season.

You choose the matcha bowl you will use. All matcha bowls are different in design and will be explained one by one.

You will eat sweets and drink matcha tea while watching a demonstration of the tea ceremony.
When necessary, we will explain the hanging scrolls, furnishings, and the history of the tea ceremony.

You will be taught and make your own matcha.

There are many photo-worthy places in Wasako's Japanese-style rooms so you can take wonderful, memorable pictures.

A 50% cancellation fee will be charged for cancellations made the day before and 100% for cancellations made the day of the event.

NOT INCLUDED
  • If you want to get on the tatami, bring your own socks. If you do not have them, we will sell them for 500 yen.
  • You may wear a kimono for 3,000 yen only when you are having your picture taken. You are not allowed to go out wearing a kimono. Cash only 3,000 yen.

When should I book?

To guarantee availability book as soon as possible. Early booking is worth consideration especially if you planning the trip during high season like public holidays or weekends.


Cancellations

This excursion you can cancel with no cost up to 24 hours before the start of the trip. If you cancel it after 24 hours or not show up on the excursion you will still be charged the full price of the activity. Being late on pick-up or departure will be considered as not showing up.
