The Valley of the Kings served as a resting place for the rulers of Egypt from the New Kingdom era. Several tombs in the Valley of the Kings, which has more than 60 burial sites, are not accessible to the public.
Tombs that are open to the Public:
At present, the entrance ticket for the Valley of the Kings covers eight tombs, of which you are allowed to visit three: (Ramesses VII, Ramesses IX, Merenptah, Ramesses III, Tausert-Setnakht, Seti II, Ramesses I, Siptah & the tomb of Ramesses IV, was opened during our visit in 2019. Currently, it is not open)
There are three additional tombs that you can visit with an extra ticket. (Ramesses V & VI, Seti I & Tutankhamun Tombs )
