Lagoon Trip: Quilotoa + Yambo Laguna Trip: Quilotoa + Yambo

Experience an amazing adventure at the Quilotoa Lagoon and the peaceful Yambo Lagoon. A tour designed to admire natural landscapes, experience the culture of its people, and create unique experiences.
Experience a day full of nature outside Quito, visit the Quilotoa lagoon inside the crater of the volcano, kayak in its turquoise waters, and complement your trip with the experience of the Yambo lagoon, which is famous for its legends, history, and unparalleled landscape.

We depart from Quito, picking you up at your hotel or at the selected meeting point at 8:00 am.

The journey takes approximately 3 hours, with technical stops and places to admire, such as the Yanarumi Viewpoint in Pujilí, where you can appreciate the landscape ahead.
Upon arrival, we will visit the glass viewpoint where we can capture our first impression of the lagoon.

Then we will descend towards the lagoon, a short walk to the shore of Quilotoa, where we will go kayaking and then climb back up (if you don't like walking, there are alternatives for ascending and descending).

We will have a typical local lunch.

We will continue to our next stop, the beautiful Yambo Lagoon, where we will try Salcedos ice cream, a typical sweet of the province, before arriving.
Finally, from the Yambo viewpoint, we will admire the tranquil Yambo lagoon and learn about some of the curiosities of this important lagoon.

This will complete a day full of experiences in the lagoons closest to the capital.
We will arrive back in the city between 6 and 7 pm.

This excursion you can cancel with no cost up to 24 hours before the start of the trip. If you cancel it after 24 hours or not show up on the excursion you will still be charged the full price of the activity. Being late on pick-up or departure will be considered as not showing up.
