Discover the hanging bridges of Los Puentes Colgantes de Chulilla, Loriguilla Reservoir, and Turia River Basin with a private, full-day hiking tour, including bus transportation and a local guide.
Chulilla is located just 45 minutes of driving away from Valencia. The hike is divided into two parts: first the hanging bridges and then the village of Chulilla and the Charzo Azul lake.
We will start the hike going through the canyon made by the Turia river and soon get to the Hanging Bridges.This is where most photos are taken and we will certainly stop here to take some of our own. After that we will continue walking through the canyon. Luckily, there is road access to the both sides of the canyon, so you can walk the trail without having to go back the same way.
After that we will get back to the car and after a short drive we will be in Chulilla. Here we will visit the remains of the castle of Chulilla, located on the hilltop right above the village. Next, we will walk down to through another part of the canyon to Charco Azul. Here we will observe the dam and get the chance to take a dip in the cool waters of this lake.
A short walk back and we will return to Chulilla. Here we can have a post-hike drink in a bar, before heading back to Valencia.
