Discover the history of cocoa in Ecuador and how it's transformed into delicious chocolate bars made by local entrepreneurs and also by our visitors in a hands-on workshop.
Inside our Chocolate Museum, you'll learn about the history of cocoa in Ecuador. You can tour and enjoy a delicious frothy chocolate that will delight your palate, accompanied by traditional Cayambe biscuits in our cafeteria. You'll also learn about the roasting, husking, and grinding process so you can create your own chocolate bar to take home and enjoy with your family or friends. At the end of the tour, you'll also get to see a bit of our historic center, like the traditional Plaza de las Flores.

To guarantee availability book as soon as possible. Early booking is worth consideration especially if you planning the trip during high season like public holidays or weekends.

This excursion you can cancel with no cost up to 24 hours before the start of the trip. If you cancel it after 24 hours or not show up on the excursion you will still be charged the full price of the activity. Being late on pick-up or departure will be considered as not showing up.
