You will see the nature and agriculture in our small village close to the capital and learn, how to make the typical canary Mojo sauce the traditional way.
We meet at the entrance of Finca La Mangita. The botanist Zdenka explains the cultivation and production of mangoes and other fruits. You can visit the green house and maybe harvest coriander or peppers. You’ll gain fascinating insider knowledge about the history, nature, farming, and local traditions of La Gomera.
Afterwards, it’s time for a culinary experience: we transform peppers, chilies, and coriander into a delicious traditional Canarian sauce, prepared the authentic way with a mortar and stone. You can enjoy it with fresh bread or with traditional Canarian wrinkled potatoes prepared on site. And if there is any left, you can take a small jar of homemade mojo with you as a souvenir to enjoy at home.

This excursion you can cancel with no cost up to 24 hours before the start of the trip. If you cancel it after 24 hours or not show up on the excursion you will still be charged the full price of the activity. Being late on pick-up or departure will be considered as not showing up.
