Enjoy a full day soaking up the pleasant atmosphere as you visit the towns along the coast of Granada, such as Salobreña, perched on a hill and home to an old Moorish castle. Stop in historic Almuñecar, founded by the Phoenicians around 1000 B.C. and enjoy a walk in Majuelo Park and a visit to San Miguel Castle.
You’ll have lunch in Almuñecar and in the afternoon depart for Nerja, a town in the province of Malaga, to visit the Nerja Caves, an archeological site that’s part of the Spanish Historical Heritage. Marvel at the stalactite and stalagmite formation of this natural spectacle.
