Lanzarote: Baptism and Immersion in the Atlantic Museum

The Atlantic Museum of Lanzarote, created by the British artist Jason deCaires Taylor, was born as a project for the conservation and protection of marine fauna and flora.

300 statues at a depth of just 12 meters, forming an artificial reef where various Atlantic species have found refuge.

It's a very special and unique dive that you can do without needing to be a certified diver.

During the first session of the course, one of our instructors will teach you the basics of diving, how to use the equipment, and you'll enter the water for a shore dive. There, you'll learn different diving skills to gain confidence underwater. During this first dive, you'll have the chance to see schools of fish, barracudas, and more marine life while you practice your buoyancy.

After a rest break, a dive briefing, and gear preparation, you'll board one of our boats with your instructor for the 10-minute ride to the dive site: the Atlantic Museum.

Once the 45-minute dive is over, you'll head back to the dive center.

At the end of the day, you'll receive your SSI Basic Diver certification in digital format. This temporary certification will allow you to dive in conditions similar to your training, with a maximum depth of 12 meters and under the direct supervision of a professional diver. The certification is valid for 6 months, during which you can also validate your experience and become an Open Water Diver, receiving a discount on the course price.

To guarantee availability book as soon as possible. Early booking is worth consideration especially if you planning the trip during high season like public holidays or weekends.

This excursion you can cancel with no cost up to 24 hours before the start of the trip. If you cancel it after 24 hours or not show up on the excursion you will still be charged the full price of the activity. Being late on pick-up or departure will be considered as not showing up.
