This Copper Mile Trail offers expansive scenery of the Lower Salt River, with a grand view of Red Mountain. On this trail, you'll have a good chance of seeing the wild horses in the area. Your main destination on this trail will lead you to a historic abandoned mine last used in 1947! This Trail's difficulty rating is considered easy to moderately challenging (depending on the route you take). The length of the trail is about a 3-mile loop, with an elevation gain of about 242ft, and it's highest grade being 60%.
