Experience Olympic National Park's incredible eco-diversity on a 2-mile naturalist guided hike through the Hoh Rain Forest, followed by an afternoon along the Olympic Wilderness Coast at Rialto Beach.
Visit one of the largest temperate rain forests in the USA and explore the Olympic Wilderness Coast on a 9 hour guided hiking tour. The tour begins with a scenic 2-hour van tour deep into the interior of the Hoh Rain Forest. Upon arrival, your naturalist hiking guide will lead a 2-mile hike through two scenic nature loops within the Hoh Rain Forest, identifying mosses, lichens, trees, while discussing the natural history of this ancient old-growth forest. We generally spend about two hours exploring the Hoh Rain Forest.
On our drive to Rialto Beach, we will make a 15-20 minute scheduled stop in the small town of Forks, WA at a local grocery store. Guests can purchase grab & go deli items, snacks, coffee, or souvenirs during this stop. Upon arrival at Rialto Beach, we generally allocate time for a picnic lunch before trekking along the wilderness coastline. Rialto Beach highlights include a stunning coastline forest, towering sea stacks, and massive driftwood logs scattered along the beach. After an afternoon of Rialto Beach explorations, relax in the spacious van for a comfortable 1 hour 30-minute drive back to Port Angeles.

Please note that this Olympic National Park day tour begins and ends in Port Angeles, WA, which is a 3-hour one-way trip from Seattle. With a 7:00 AM - 7:15 AM tour check-in, most guests stay the night before in Port Angeles. Contact Olympic Hiking Co. for local lodging recommendations and industry rates in the area.

When should I book?
To guarantee availability book as soon as possible. Early booking is worth consideration especially if you planning the trip during high season like public holidays or weekends.
Cancellations
This excursion you can cancel with no cost up to 24 hours before the start of the trip. If you cancel it after 24 hours or not show up on the excursion you will still be charged the full price of the activity. Being late on pick-up or departure will be considered as not showing up.
