Learn how to plan and prepare for an overnight trip in coastal environments and near shore lakes on this kayak camping class. Be introduced to proper equipment and how it is used, how to select a camp location, prepare food, leave no trace, how to load a kayak, how to paddle, and much more.

Start with several hours of land-based outdoor classroom training, followed by a 3 to 4-mile one-way paddle to an overnight primitive campsite to continue learning, cook, and test your knowledge. Enjoy an all hands-on deck, "challenged by choice" philosophy.

This excursion you can cancel with no cost up to 24 hours before the start of the trip. If you cancel it after 24 hours or not show up on the excursion you will still be charged the full price of the activity. Being late on pick-up or departure will be considered as not showing up.
