Day 1: Arusha – Tarangire National Park
Drive Time: ~2.5 hours (120 km)

Itinerary:
07:00 AM: Pick-up from KIA/Arusha Airport or your hotel.
07:30 AM: Start the scenic drive to Tarangire National Park, enjoying views of Maasai villages and the Great Rift Valley.
10:00 AM: Arrive at Tarangire, check-in, and start your game drive.
10:30 AM - 12:30 PM: Game drive through Tarangire, famous for:
Large elephant herds
Ancient baobab trees
Lions, leopards, and cheetahs
Giraffes, zebras, wildebeest, and more
01:00 PM: Picnic lunch inside the park.
02:00 PM - 04:30 PM: More game viewing as you explore different areas of Tarangire.
04:30 PM: Exit the park and drive towards Ngorongoro for overnight stay near the crater.

Day 2: Ngorongoro Crater – Arusha/KIA

06:00 AM: Early breakfast at the lodge.
06:30 AM: Depart for Ngorongoro Conservation Area.
07:00 AM: Descend 600 meters into Ngorongoro Crater for a half-day game drive.
07:30 AM - 12:30 PM: Game drive in the crater, where you may see:
The Big Five (lion, elephant, buffalo, rhino, leopard)
Hippos and flamingos at the lake
Hyenas, jackals, and cheetahs
12:30 PM: Picnic lunch at the hippo pool.
01:30 PM: Ascend the crater and start the drive back to Arusha/KIA.
05:00 PM: Drop-off at your hotel or airport for departure.

This excursion you can cancel with no cost up to 24 hours before the start of the trip. If you cancel it after 24 hours or not show up on the excursion you will still be charged the full price of the activity. Being late on pick-up or departure will be considered as not showing up.
