1) Pickup and transfer to Kechene (10–15 minutes)
- Take a taxi/ride-hail to Kechene (also spelled Ketchene), a neighborhood historically known for its Beta Israel (Ethiopian Jewish) community. Travel time depends on your starting point and traffic; allocate ~10–15 minutes if starting centrally.
2) Kechene (Ethiopian Jew Village) (35–40 minutes)
- What to do:
- Walk through the neighborhood with a local guide if possible to learn the history, architecture, and community life.
- Visit any small community sites, synagogues (if accessible), and speak with residents or community leaders about cultural practices and the migration history of Ethiopian Jews.
