Description
Enjoy a day of fun at Linnanmäki Amusement Park in Helsinki. Choose between the Isohupi wristband for all rides or the Pikkuhupi wristband for 18 family-friendly attractions.
Visit Linnanmäki, Finland’s oldest and most popular amusement park, located in the Alppila district of Helsinki. Enjoy over 40 rides, a wide variety of games, and food stalls. Choose between two wristbands: Isohupi, which gives you access to all rides in the park, or Pikkuhupi, which includes entry to 18 family-friendly rides.
Experience the most beloved ride at Linnanmäki, the wooden Roller Coaster, which has delighted visitors since 1951. In the 2025 season, two exciting new family rides – Huristin and Keikutin – will open in July.
Enter through the Main Gate on Tivolikuja or the South Gate on Helsinginkatu. All areas of the amusement park can be accessed with a wheelchair, stroller, or pram. If you encounter stairs, there is an alternative route available.
Tram line 3 runs to the Linnanmäki Main Gate from the Helsinki railway station. Get off at the Linnanmäki pohj./Borgbacken norra stop. Tram lines 1, 2, 4, 8 and 10 take you to the South Gate entrance (alight at the Linnanmäki etelä / Borgbacken södra). The number 23 bus departs from the railway station. Get off at the Linnanmäki pohj/Borgbacken norra stop.
Traveling by train is an environmentally friendly way to come to Linnanmäki. All long-distance and local trains stop at the Pasila railway station. The walk to Linnanmäki along the pedestrian and cycle path alongside the railway track from Pasila is just around 1.4 km. You can also easily get to Linnanmäki from Pasila by bus number 23 (get off at the Linnanmäki/Borgbacken stop).
Parking space around Linnanmäki is very limited, which is why we recommend using the convenient and affordable Park & Walk remote parking area. It is located about a 15-minute walk from the park and costs just €4 per day.
For the past decades the Children’s Day Foundation has been maintaining and developing Linnanmäki amusement park (opened in 1950) in order to raise funds for child welfare work. So far the Children’s Day Foundation has donated over 130 million euros to this important cause. While our visitors are having fun at Linnanmäki amusement park they are also supporting child welfare work. The Children’s Day Foundation wants to thank every amusement park visitor for supporting the important work for the welfare of children.
