Experience a snowmobile safari designed exclusively for adults looking for a more personal and professional experience. At Snowride Lapland, we separate our adult groups from family tours because we know they ride at a different pace. This allows everyone to enjoy the experience the way it should be. We keep our groups small, with a maximum of 8 guests, so our guides can adapt the tour to the group instead of following a fixed schedule. If your group has 8 or more participants, we’ll organize it as a private tour at no extra cost.
Your adventure starts at our office in Rovaniemi, or we can pick you up from your accommodation. After getting dressed in high-quality winter equipment, including thermal overalls, boots, gloves, helmets and balaclavas, we head to our snowmobile base, where you’ll ride the newest snowmobiles on the market.
Before the tour begins, our professional guides will explain everything you need to know to drive the snowmobile safely. Every guide at Snowride Lapland has years of experience leading snowmobile tours in Lapland, and safety and professionalism are always our top priorities. Whether it’s your first time on a snowmobile or you already have experience, our guides will adapt the pace and provide the support you need to make the most of the tour.
Unlike many larger operators, we don’t run large groups or rush from one stop to the next. The driving time is approximately 1 hour to 1 hour 15 minutes, depending on the pace of the group. If everyone is enjoying the ride, we often spend a little longer on the trails. Along the way, we’ll stop for photos and take in the beautiful scenery of Lapland as we ride through snowy forests and across frozen lakes.
After the safari, we return to our office and, if needed, drive you back to your accommodation.

• A valid Category B (car) driving licence is required to drive a snowmobile.
• Driving a snowmobile under the influence of alcohol or drugs is strictly prohibited.
• Children 140 cm or taller can travel as a passenger on the snowmobile. In this case, the adult price applies.
• The tour is not recommended for pregnant women beyond the first trimester.
• Maximum liability is €750 per snowmobile in case of damage. We keep it among the lowest in Rovaniemi thanks to our experienced professional guides and our strong focus on safety.

When should I book?
To guarantee availability book as soon as possible. Early booking is worth consideration especially if you planning the trip during high season like public holidays or weekends.
Cancellations
This excursion you can cancel with no cost up to 24 hours before the start of the trip. If you cancel it after 24 hours or not show up on the excursion you will still be charged the full price of the activity. Being late on pick-up or departure will be considered as not showing up.
