Description
Learn to make traditional Finnish salmon soup in a cozy cooking class in Helsinki. Enjoy a meal with bread, butter, and good company, just like a local.
Experience Finnish food culture the local way with Eat Like a Finn, a cozy Helsinki cooking night built around traditional salmon soup, warm conversation, and home-style flavours. You’ll begin under the Stockmann clock, then visit Stockmann’s grocery store with your guide to hand-pick the fresh ingredients for the meal, including salmon, vegetables, herbs, bread, and butter. After shopping, you’ll continue to a nearby cooking space in central Helsinki, where you’ll prepare the soup together while hearing stories about Finnish home cooking, cottage life, berry picking, coffee culture, sauna traditions, and everyday life. After cooking, you’ll sit down to enjoy the soup with bread, butter, and good company — not as a formal class, but as a relaxed evening to slow down, connect, and truly eat like a Finn.
