Get a head start on winter with our early winter snowmobiling adventure! At Apukka Resort, we’ve harnessed the magic of stored snow and snow cannons to create our very own early-season trails — meaning you can experience the exhilaration of snowmobiling even before nature fully turns white.
After a thorough driving and safety briefing, your guide will lead you across approximately 15 to 20 kilometers (6 to 12 miles) of pristine Arctic landscape. Feel the rush of cold air, the hum of the engine, and the excitement of gliding through the wilderness. Whether you’re a first-timer or an experienced rider, this tour is the perfect way to welcome the winter season with unforgettable energy.

IMPORTANT INFORMATION
Children (ages 4–14 yrs. old) participate in the safari on a heated sled towed by the guide’s snowmobile. We strongly advise having one of the parents accompany a small child in the sled to ensure their comfort and safety. For families with small children and infants, we recommend the Family Snowmobiling tour, which is available daily at 12:00.
If a child over 140 cm wishes to sit in a snowmobile as a passenger, a full adult price will be charged. In this case, you need to book the child as an adult!
The snowmobile driver must be at least 18 years old and possess a driver’s license valid in Finland. The snowmobile driver is held liable for any damages caused to the vehicle.
Securing a self-liability waiver for your snowmobile before the safari minimizes potential self-liability costs to a maximum of 250€/person/snowmobile/accident, down from the standard 980€ in case of an accident. This waiver is individualized and applicable for a single snowmobile safari.

When should I book?
To guarantee availability book as soon as possible. Early booking is worth consideration especially if you planning the trip during high season like public holidays or weekends.
Cancellations
This excursion you can cancel with no cost up to 24 hours before the start of the trip. If you cancel it after 24 hours or not show up on the excursion you will still be charged the full price of the activity. Being late on pick-up or departure will be considered as not showing up.
