Description

Witness the magic of the wild Lapland.
Experience the Arctic night in a calm, intimate setting on this adults-only Aurora Hunt in Levi, Finnish Lapland. This 6-hour small-group adventure takes you far into the wilderness, away from artificial lights, where dark skies and open landscapes give you the best possible conditions to witness the Northern Lights.

Each evening, your experienced guide carefully follows real-time weather forecasts, cloud cover, and solar activity, adapting the route to find the most promising viewing locations. As you travel through snowy forests, frozen lakes, and quiet Arctic roads, you’ll gain insight into life in the North, local culture, and the science behind the aurora.

While waiting for the lights to appear, you’ll enjoy a warm meal, biscuits, and hot chocolate, surrounded by the stillness of the Arctic night. Thermal suits and winter boots are provided to ensure comfort even at extreme temperatures. Your guide will also help with camera settings and photography tips, and professional photos from the night are included, so you can fully enjoy the moment without worrying about capturing it yourself.

With groups limited to just 4–8 adults, this tour offers a relaxed and personal atmosphere, free from crowds and rush. Even in temperatures dropping to –30°C, the experience feels special rather than challenging, thanks to thoughtful planning and proper equipment. If you’re looking for an authentic Northern Lights experience that prioritizes comfort, expertise, and quiet wilderness, this Aurora Hunt is a memorable way to spend a winter night in Finnish Lapland.
