We will depart from Place Jean Jaurès, heading in the direction of the former National Route 10 to reach Place Plumereau (known as Place Plum to locals) and the Vieux Tours (Old Tours) district, the city's historic and medieval quarter. Let's continue our journey, which will take us to a little-known but symbolic place before we reach other locations along our route. We will pass by the Château de Tours and Saint-Gatien Cathedral, then stop to say hello to an old friend of Tours before heading to the Gare de Tours, designed by Victor Laloux.
The tour is conducted in French, but handouts in English, Spanish, and Italian will be provided, along with translations of the puzzles and information about the main monuments and sites on the tour.
At the end of the tour, you will be provided with information on the must-see places in Touraine (châteaux, gourmet restaurants, recommended spots, vineyards, etc.).
