Les Bassins des Lumières, located in the former Bordeaux submarine base, plunges young and old into the heart of the prehistoric world with the new creation "PREHISTORIC PLANET: DINOSAURS – THE IMMERSIVE EXPERIENCE".
In partnership with Apple TV and the London studio Lightroom, this new immersive experience promises to transport visitors 66 million years back to the age of the dinosaurs.
Guided by the voice of Gérard Lanvin and breathtaking images from the Apple TV series Prehistoric Planet, this creation transports visitors to the magnificent landscapes of prehistoric Earth and introduces them to impressive wildlife.
From the fragile birth of young herbivorous dinosaurs to the nocturnal hunting of T. rex, via the colossal Dreadnoughtus (one of the largest giant dinosaurs) and the mysteries revealed by fossils, this immersive experience explores the deep connections that unite all forms of life on Earth, both past and present.
The experience is subtitled in French and English.

Strollers are allowed, but we recommend that you bring a baby carrier.
The Bassins des Lumières are fully accessible for people with reduced mobility.
The Bassins des Lumières experiences may pose risks for people with epilepsy and photosensitivity and are not recommended for children under 2 years old.
In winter, the Bassins are cool, so bring something to cover up with.

To guarantee availability book as soon as possible. Early booking is worth consideration especially if you planning the trip during high season like public holidays or weekends.
Cancellations
This excursion you can cancel with no cost up to 24 hours before the start of the trip. If you cancel it after 24 hours or not show up on the excursion you will still be charged the full price of the activity. Being late on pick-up or departure will be considered as not showing up.
