Description
A Jeep tour of the D-Day sites is a great way to discover and experience the history of World War II. You drive in an original Willys Jeep of 1944.
Our guide will then take you on a tour in an authentic 1944 Willys Jeep used by the Allies. You traverse the main historical sites of D-Day in the Cotentin: the drop zones, Sainte Mère-Église, where you meet John Steele, the Battle of La Fière and the landing beaches. You will visit the famous Utah Beach, where thousands of soldiers were landed on 6 June 1944.
You will also explore the countryside where you will find traces of the battle, such as bunkers, craters, monuments and cemeteries. You will be drawn into the stories of those who fought and died here. You will marvel at the courage and sacrifice of the men and women who gave their lives for the freedom of Europe.
