I propose you to discover 3 different ambiances of Provence during thris trip : vibrant Marseille, authentic countryside off the beaten path & chic Aix-en-Provence.
Marseille is a very dynamic and melting pot city where you'll visit the most amazing manument - the basilica of Notre Dame de la Garde and admire its stunning view of all the city and Mediterranean sea.
Then, we'll move to the countryside, we'll pass through the beautiful and peaceful landscapes around the Sainte-Victoire and vines valley. You'll visit an authentic vineyard and have a wine tasting there. I'll bring you to a little hilltop village away from hustle and bustle of mass tourism where we'll have a game of pétanque with some Provencal appetizers, just like locals do ! After that, you'll have some free time for an excellent lunch in the village or in the nature.
We'll move to the chic Aix-en-Provence, with its beautiful boutiques, squares & cafés. You'll have time for shopping, strolling, a coffee or ice-creams. You can also visit one of the museums. It just depends on you and your interests!
