We will drive to the perched medieval village of Eze, stopping along the way to snap some photos. In Eze, you can wander the cobbled streets lined with artisans' boutiques, and visit the Exotic Garden, where you can learn more about the tropical vegetation while taking in the breathtaking views.
In Monte Carlo, once you have seen the Castle and the Casino and perhaps indulged in some people-watching at the Café de Paris, we can taste local specialties such as pichade or barbajuan, and drive the Formula One circuit.
There are many restaurants to choose from along this stretch of coast, but for me nothing beats a picnic from a secluded vantage point overlooking the village of Eze, with the sea glittering below.
