Description
Walk on the paths and small country roads lined with vineyards thanks to our self-guided route.
Then, experience a visit to the wine park, and end your day with a local wine (or grape juice) tasting.
The appointment is scheduled early in the morning at one of the Lyon railway stations for your train ride to Romanèche-Thorins.
Upon arrival, you open your geolocalisation app to guide yourself on the paths and small roads lined with vineyards. Along the way, there are audio commentaries to enhance your discovery of Beaujolais !
For lunch, you can enjoy a sandwich from your bag or a meal at the beautiful restaurant of the Hameau du Vin (non included, subject to availability ; if you wish, we can arrange the reservation for you, payment directly on spot).
The afternoon is dedicated to the fun and interactive visit to the Hameau du Vin.
Finally, this great and busy day naturally concludes with a wine (or grap juice) tasting from… Beaujolais !

Regarding the self-guided hike, a good level of physical fitness is required for this excursion as the walking route covers a distance of 8 to 12 km. Please remember to bring comfortable shoes, 1 liter of water per person, a picnic, rain or sun protection depending on the weather, and, of course, your good mood !
In the event of a failure of the regional train services (such as technical problems, maintenance works, strikes, etc.), private transportation will be arranged provided there are a minimum of 4 participants (below this number, the excursion will be cancelled and customers will be reimbursed).
Train schedules subject to change will be communicated at the time of booking.
As this program is a self-guided day trip, there won't be a guide at the meeting point. However please note that there will be a train to catch according to the time indicated on the tickets sent to you via email.
When should I book?
To guarantee availability book as soon as possible. Early booking is worth consideration especially if you planning the trip during high season like public holidays or weekends.
Cancellations
This excursion you can cancel with no cost up to 24 hours before the start of the trip. If you cancel it after 24 hours or not show up on the excursion you will still be charged the full price of the activity. Being late on pick-up or departure will be considered as not showing up.
