A walking tour guide through Lyon's 3 main historical areas: from the place des Terreaux to Fourvière hill, and from the Modern Times to Antiquity.
We will be meeting next to Place des Terreaux horses fountain where I will tell you the history of the place, next we will walk down Avenue de la République to reach Place Bellecour, the city neuralgic center, rich with countless stories, before leaving it for Old Town, symbol of the Renaissance and the time when Lyon was the pride of the French kingdom thanks to its silk and printing industry.
After that, follow me up onto the hill of Fourvière where you will discover the magnificent amphitheater, one of the oldest in Europe, and emblem of Lyon's ancient name Lugdunum, when it was the second capital of the Roman Empire. Last but far from least, the tour will end on the parvis of Notre Dame de Fourvière's basilica where you will experience a breathtaking view of the whole city.
