Kazbegi - Mountain tour Kazbegi is a mountainous part of Georgia. The Main Caucasian Range passes here, and the famous Georgian Military Highway passes through it. A trip to the incredible Zhinvali reservoir. We will see the Ananuri fortress - one of the most visited sights. In Pasanauri we see how the rivers of black and white Aragvi do not mix. You will try natural, healing Georgian honey. We will drive past the Gudauri ski center and admire the stunning mountain views. You will climb the mountain where the Ark of Friendship was built, from where we will see a turquoise lake. On the way, we will stop at Mount Travertine, where mineral water flows and try it. Arrival in Stepantsminda. For almost 100 years, until 2007, it was known as Kazbegi, but recently its historical name has been returned to it. We see Mount Kazbegi - one of the most famous peaks of the Caucasus Mountains (5033 m). Monastery of the Holy Trinity "Gergeti" (monastery on Mount Kazbegi), which is located at an altitude of 2200 m above sea level!
