Begin your journey from Tbilisi with a comfortable pickup service and head toward Telavi, the heart of Georgia’s wine region. Your first stop is the Telavi local bazaar, a vibrant market filled with fresh fruits, vegetables, homemade cheese, churchkhela, and traditional Georgian spices.

Continue to the historic Alaverdi Monastery, one of Georgia’s oldest spiritual and winemaking sites, beautifully surrounded by vineyards and the Caucasus mountains.

Next, arrive at Rostomaant Marani, a family-owned winery preserving a 200-year-old Qvevri winemaking tradition. Explore the wine cellar, see how wines are made in clay Qvevri, and take part in a hands-on Georgian cooking masterclass.

Afterward, enjoy a generous wine tasting and traditional dinner, featuring Khinkali, homemade cheese, fresh bread, barbecue, salads, and homemade jams. Vegetarian guests are warmly welcomed — you’ll enjoy special cheese Khinkali, made with house-produced cheese at Rostomaant Marani.

In the evening, relax and stay overnight at Rostomaant Marani Guest House, located right next to the wine cellar. Guests may also enjoy an evening walk to Nadikvari Park or Telavi’s Old Town before resting for the night.

After a relaxed breakfast at Rostomaant Marani Guest House, take a short walk (about 500 meters) to the Telavi Castle, where King Erekle II was born. Enjoy beautiful morning views over the Alazani Valley and vineyards below.

After this calm and scenic start to the day, your driver will take you comfortably back to Tbilisi, marking the end of your authentic Kakhetian wine and culture experience.
