Begin with a 1.5-hour drive, stopping for a scenic view overlooking Tbilisi. As you head toward Tsalka, take in stunning mountain and valley landscapes.
After reaching Tsalka Lake, leave the pavement and begin your overlanding journey. Experience the real Georgian countryside. Drive off-road to hilltops that rise into the clouds. Learn the fundamentals of 4x4 driving—with the option to take the wheel yourself, feel the thrill as a passenger, or simply enjoy the comfort and views.
Drive through herds of cows and sheep, with stops to take beautiful photos in the wild landscape. At a scenic spot, pause for lunch. While your guide prepares the barbecue, take a short hike uphill for even better views—including a distant glacier.
You can choose a longer, more technical off-road route or opt to visit the Diamond Bridge over Dashbashi Canyon. Enjoy a sunset at Tsalka Lake with a cup of coffee, or sip a drink inside the glass bridge as the sun sets behind the canyon.
As the sun sets, begin your drive back to Tbilisi.

Weather conditions can change rapidly in the mountains, so have an extra warmth layer, wind and rain protection with you.
Your shoes can become dirty.
We meet at the Perogico cafe, where lovely hosts allow us to use their restrooms and will make us a welcome coffee (included).
I will meet you inside, and also you will notice my red Toyota 4Runner parked nearby.

When should I book?
To guarantee availability book as soon as possible. Early booking is worth consideration especially if you planning the trip during high season like public holidays or weekends.
Cancellations
This excursion you can cancel with no cost up to 24 hours before the start of the trip. If you cancel it after 24 hours or not show up on the excursion you will still be charged the full price of the activity. Being late on pick-up or departure will be considered as not showing up.
