Over 57 million people worldwide have already visited the exhibition. Starting September 26, 2025, Plastinator Dr. Gunther von Hagens and curator Dr. Angelina Whalley in Hanau are showing their current exhibition about the human body in the cycle of birth and death: BODY WORLDS & The Cycle of Life.
A variety of unique specimens, including many whole-body plastinates, take us through the human body and explain the individual organ functions and common diseases in an easy-to-understand way. The focus is on the human body and how it changes over time, from conception to old age. BODY WORLDS vividly shows what each of us can do to keep our health and high quality of life for as long as possible. There are only a few events that change the way we see ourselves so permanently
All the specimens in the exhibition are real. They come from people who, during their lifetime, decided that their bodies should be available after their death for the training of doctors and interested laypeople.

When should I book?
To guarantee availability book as soon as possible. Early booking is worth consideration especially if you planning the trip during high season like public holidays or weekends.
Cancellations
This excursion you can cancel with no cost up to 24 hours before the start of the trip. If you cancel it after 24 hours or not show up on the excursion you will still be charged the full price of the activity. Being late on pick-up or departure will be considered as not showing up.
